2025 Portfolio

Scroll down to see the latest updates! 2025 was a fantastic year :)

For 2025, I've set a goal of creating at least one fully finished ink Illustration per week. As some of you may know, I take inspiration from the frames that house my artwork. I enjoy collecting unique frames with personality. Whether it's vintage, antique, or just quirky frames, I have quite a collection. I enjoy finding a frame and letting it tell me a story of what should live inside of it. This makes the frame become an active part of the art piece, and because of that, I often start an art piece by choosing the frame first (which is a little ass-backwards, I know).

After a few months of being on this train, I decided to start updating a little blog on my website to showcase the works I've been creating weekly. Some weeks, I create multiple pieces; other weeks, all my time is sunk into commissioned art pieces. Either way, I wanted to share my time with the world, so follow along and enjoy :)

If you'd like to purchase an original that is still listed as available, please reach out on my contact page. Shipping original framed artwork is quite tricky, but it can be done.
If prints are listed as available but you can't find them on the webstore, send me a message :) I limit my web-store stock to prevent inventory hiccups.

January 2025

Mighty Fine Pines, 8x10 ink on smooth bristol.
I started the year off with a commission for a band. This will be the first cover for the Mighty Fine Pines self-titled album. Stay tuned for the coloured version.

I love it when I find ultra-tiny frames. I feel so lucky to have discovered a tiny relic from the past. I always fill them with tiny original art pieces. It warms my heart when people can take a tiny piece of my art with them.

Oluwi7 band commission - 8x10 ink on bristol & digital painting.
This was a really fun commission for a local musician. This design was created for screen printing, which is why I used a very minimal colour palette. I also did an alternative colour palette that's just red, black and white. The client was thrilled with this, and their merch looks fantastic.

Entangled Love Print, 2025 Valentine's Day cards. Digital painting printed on 14lb cover stock. Prints available (coming soon to webstore)

The Black Cat Bazaar Poster, 11x17 ink, gouache & digital paint, printed on poster stock.

Mushroom Playing Cards, 2025. Available here
My playing cards were a labour of love, and they turned out great! I have some left on the web shop, in case these haven't made it into your collection yet.

The Transformed Wizard, 8x10 ink & gouache on cold-pressed water colour paper, housed in an antique frame. Sold.

Wolverine Sketch Cover, drawn at AEX Charlotte town, 2024. Sold.
This was my first time doing a sketch cover for someone. It was drawn quickly in my hotel room late at night, but I'm still pretty happy with it! I haven't drawn Wolverine since I was 12, so it's not bad lol.

Enchanted Mug, limited collection of 12. Sold.
This was a collaboration between me & Shinaid (Earth Sol Ceramics). Shiniad made the mug base, and then I carved in the design, and we worked together to build up the bark look. I learned so much when working on this collab. It was so much fun! I'm very thankful for Shinaid's teachings, as I wouldn't have had this opportunity without her.

The Dream Wizard, 16x20, ink & gouache on illustration board, in antique frame from the 1950s. Sold.
The idea for this drawing came to me in a dream. In the dream, I was standing in darkness and saw a blue spark of light. A hooded wizard came out of that spark and lifted the hood to reveal a glowing third eye on his forehead. Suddenly, bubbles of energy started emerging from the eye, swirling upward. The bubbles expanded, revealing strange portals to different worlds. This was so intense, it woke me up, and I scribbled the idea down. Two months later, I made this huge drawing. It was my first time using gouache on illustration board, and I don't recommend lol

June

Speaker of the One, 7x21, ink & gouache on cold-pressed water colour paper. Sold.
This is part of one of two for a series that was sent to Calgary to be a part of the MushLove third annual art show at the NVRLND Boutique. The mushroom wizards above were warm-ups for this piece :) Fun Fact: I was in the middle of a brutal artist block for nearly a month while I was creating this piece, so I really had to force this one out.

Speaker of the Many, 7x21, ink & gouache on cold-pressed water colour paper. Available as of January 2026
This is the only photo I have of this one currently; however, it lives in a matching golden frame like its partner above. This is part 2 of the series that went to NVRLND Boutique in Calgary for the third annual mush love festival. This was my first time having artwork in a gallery outside of Atlantic Canada! I was still in an art block during the creation of this piece, and I think that's why I don't have a good quality photo of it lol. I will make sure to take a better photo of it to replace this one before it sells!

Growth, 12x12, ink & gouache on cold-pressed water colour paper, mounted on wood panel. Sold.
This piece was created for the 12x12 gallery exhibition at the Fredericton Playhouse, curated by Pascal Leo Cormier. This piece cured my wretched art block that began in May. I am thankful for this one, as it brought back genuine joy into my process once again.

The Okanagan Wizard, 8x10, ink on notebook paper. Not Available
I went on vacation in June with my partner, and we stayed in a very cute Airbnb in Kelowna, BC. I left this drawing in the Airbnb's guest book as my drawing of the week :)

Loremaster Grib Print, 5x7, mixed media (ink & digital painting). Prints available here

The Great Wizard City, 16x20, ink on illustration board. Available (framed).
This is kind of a hilarious photo to me. This is a HUGE drawing, and this was the first photo I took of it fully finished. I was so, SO excited to have it complete. It took me around 60 hours, which, all said and done, is pretty impressive considering what I used to be able to complete in 60 hours only a year ago, let alone 4. Being an artist is a weird, messy thing. So in honour of that, enjoy this photo of me, my art, and my very messy studio desk. This piece was designed to be my third fine art puzzle, and wait until you see the final digital painting!

Mo's Stitches Logo Commission, ink on acid-free 110 lb paper.

Black Cat Bazaar Post #2, mixed media (ink and digital painting printed on poster stock).
This is a poster for the upcoming black cat bazaar market in September!

September

SkyLion II, 5x7, ink on smooth bristol, framed in an antique frame. Sold.

Hydra, ~4x5, ink on cold-pressed water colour paper, framed in an antique gold-plated frame with rounded glass. Sold.
This frame was a crazy antique store find! It was my first time using a frame with actual gold, so it inspired a regal dragon.

Secret Box, ~4x6, ink, gouache & watercolour on cold-pressed water colour paper. Not Available.
I was gifted this ornate box that had a glass picture frame for a lid. This was my first attempt at making some kind of magic seal to protect its contents. I ended up not liking it very much.

Architect of the Forest Cover and page 3, 8x8, ink on acid-free 110lb paper.
This is the first page of a new children's book that I've been commissioned to illustrate. It should be finished in early 2026.

The Great Wizard City Print, 11x14, mixed media (ink & digital painting). Prints available here
This is the coloured design of my Great Wizard City (seen earlier). This painting took me 46 hours, and it was quite a sprint to finish it. I started & finished it in one week, spending no other time on this, so I counted it as my weekly drawing. I'm very proud of this. The colour palette may be a bit whacky, but as a jigsaw puzzle, its going to look amazing.

Thorns print, 5x7, mixed media (ink & digital painting). Prints available, coming soon to webstore

Black Cat Bazaar Poster III, 5x7, ink & gouache on cold-pressed water colour paper. Not Available

This was my second attempt at creating an art piece that did this ornamental jewelry box justice. I feel that I succeeded with this one:)

Old Lake crossing, ~6x6, ink & gouache on cold-pressed water colour paper. Sold.
This was the first time I drew Timble, and I happened to draw them alongside the SnakeBearer. This ended up sparking an idea for an awesome project, one that I hope to complete in 2026.

This was my second ceramic collaboration with Shiniad of Earth Sol Ceramics. As with the last one, she created the cup base, then I painted the watercolour-style slip on the design. After it dried, I freehand carved in the design to reveal the dark clay underneath the coloured slip. It was such a reward process.

This is a re-work of a piece I made back in 2022, and is one of my most purchased prints. I wasn't happy with the old version, as my skill has improved a lot since then, but I loved the imagery. I am very happy to have this updated version. Prints coming soon in 2026.

Magic, 5x7, ink on smooth bristol.
This was a Christmas gift for two friends of mine.

Elemental Souls, 5x7 (x2), ink on smooth bristol.
This was a Christmas commission, and it was very lovely to complete. I'd love to do more in this style in 2026.

Soulmates, 5x7, ink on smooth bristol.
This was a Christmas gift for my partner :)

Purple Violettes, ~3x4.5, ink on smooth Bristol in an antique Italian brass frame. Available as of January 2026

And with that, the year draws to a close. My goal was to have one framed, finished drawing a week, which would be 52 drawings. In the end, I created 106 original ink illustrations in frames, which is over double my goal :)
I also created 13 new prints, a new deck of mushroom-themed playing cards,
and a new puzzle! I also created at least 10 new sticker designs, but for some reason, I always forget to photograph them before they sell out! Oh well, that will be a good goal for me in 2026 ;)
It was also a great year for collaborations, as I created a bench mural art installation with Jessica Alison, as well as created two mug collaborations with the ceramic artist Earth Sol Ceramics.

Finally, I'd like to thank everyone I met in 2025. Every single person who bought my artwork this year (according to my Square records, that was over 600 new people!!). All the returning customers, all my friends and family members who spread the word about my work, and the new stores carrying my work (3 new retail spaces in 3 different cities!)

Thank you to you all, from the very bottom of my heart. I am blessed to be able to continue being a full-time working illustrator. I look forward to seeing what 2026 holds. Stay tuned for more, but for now, Cheers!
